Given TLC's well-documented contract troubles, who better to head up her own record label than Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes?

TLC's most outspoken member has launched Wish Records, an extension of her Left Eye Productions company. TLC's label home, Arista Records, notes that Lopes will run the label along with Ian Burke, who was instrumental in pulling TLC together. Burke has also worked with Arrested Development, Outkast, and Organized Noize and is also the associate director of repertory for ASCAP.

"It gives me a great opportunity to help other artists and to expand on my creativity,"

Lopes said in a statement announcing the launch of the label.

Spokespeople for Wish were unavailable for comment at press time to discuss what projects the label has up its sleeve.
